About Connor Conklin

Dedicated physical education major at the State University of New York at Cortland, preparing for student teaching and committed to giving lifelong health, teamwork, and active movement for all youth.

My journey in physical education

Based in Cortland, New York, I am pursuing my bachelor's degree in physical education at SUNY Cortland with an anticipated graduation of May 2027. Along this journey, I've noticed my passion lies in creating supportive and engaging environments where students can discover confidence through movement and sports, not only in my class, but for the rest of their lives.

Hands-on experience in action

From leading summer youth programs to teaching placements at Homer Elementary and Corning Middle School, I strive to persuade students to be motivated to have movement and exercise throughout their lives and not just in a school setting. Please explore my professional work and community involvement more in the fieldwork and experience tab.

"Physical education is about giving every child the skills, confidence, and joy of movement to build a healthy future."
